CONSTRUCTION NO.2 KNITTING PATTERN

MODULAR KNITTINGPATTERN. Scarf, DoubleScarf, WrapScarf, Bolero, Short Sleeve Cardi.

This is the very first CONSTRUCTION KNITTING pattern series I designed in 2009, to make knitting accessible to beginners by knitting simple shapes.

Working with chunky yarn, big needles and just the knit stitch makes this knitting  is quick to knit up, and you can work to whatever stage you like as your confidence and gratification grows when you complete each portion.

The pattern is designed so that as you knit each shape it can be added to the the garment to transform it into something else. The first garment starts as a rectangle shape as a SCARF, which by adding another rectangle shape becomes a DOUBLE SCARF, then an over the head WRAP/SCARF, and with the addition of another rectangle shape tranforms into a BOLERO, which with the addition of square shapes transforms into a SHORT SLEEVE CARDI.
