Construction No. 3 Knitting Pattern

MODULAR KNITTING PATTERN. Shrug, Sweater, Sweater with Sleeves, Bolero, Cardigan, Jumper, Tuxedo with Cape.

This CONSTRUCTION KNITTING Squares project is accumulative.  Keep adding knitted squares to transform the garment into something new each time.

Working with chunky yarn, big needles and just the knit stitch makes this knitting quick to knit up, and you can work to whatever stage you prefer as your confidence and gratification grows with the completion of each portion.

The first garment starts as a SHRUG, which by adding more squares becomes a SWEATER, and then more squares adds SLEEVES to the SWEATER. Or you can steer the project from the SHRUG to become a BOLERO, then a CARDIGAN. The third project option is to build the shrug into a JUMPER and then a TUXEDO CAPE.

Guage 15mm knitting needles 8sts x 10 rows over 10cm square in garter (knit) stitch
